Tomb of Jahangir is the sepulture built in memorium of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir who ruled the Mughal empire from 1605 to 1627. This tomb is situated quite close to the town of Shahdara in Lahore, Pakistan. Actually, son of Jahangir, emperor Shah Jahan built the tomb 10 years after the death of his father. This sculpture is located within a panoramic walled garden and is having four 30 meter high towers. The interior decoration of this tomb is beautified with frescoes and pietra dura modifications and colored marble. Due to the historical importance of this mausoleum it is exhibited poignantly over Pakistani 1000 rupee banknote.

The entrance of the Tomb of Emperor Jahangir, Lahore is through two giant gateways and they direct to a square platform, commonly known as the Akbari Serai.
